Boy

Came home today

Danced in the halls

Elephant in the room

Fire in my chest

Go away, I say

He laughs because he knows

I won't say it even then

Just kidding after every word

Kiss me, oh I'm kidding!

Love me, oh how funny

Mine, followed with a

Never mind, never ever?

Oasis man, my thirst tries,

Parched as I am,

Queer as can be,

Raging, roaring youth-

Smiling just for me.

Until it all ends, just

Veering into

Waters unknown

Xperimenting,

Yanking the rope-

Ziplining through life.

This started as a silly idea, but I actually like this. It's a fun activity to get out of a rut. It helps you jog your memory for all sorts of words. Just start each line of the poem with the letters of the alphabet. (shoutout srujam, my roomie, for alternate versions) idk this can go in so many directions. anyway, i think even though i started this long long ago, it applies quite nicely to my present life. thank you for reading, toodles!
