Forgive me

For I find you so beautiful

Forgive me

when stars gaze at you,

Night in shining armour

Silver streak of sky.

Forgive me

For staring; how could I not?

How viscerally splendid

The moon dons your light;

Pale grey face of hers,

Sparkling into smiles.

Would you be so kind?

As when planets align,

Forgive me, my apologies-

For if vanity is sin,

You are my crime.
