Racing, Palpitations, Burning throat, Ashy tongue- Feel your breath spin by Fast as fire- Ahead, go ahead You want a brick? A house. A palace. Just the world?! Run, Run, scrape a knee Why so little? Lose a limb. Know, there is no porcelain Clean or white for the impoverished; Come, Come, a race on ice, Slip to the glass castle Eat all the mannered air For a half heart full of cold blood Death feels better in the Diamond grave! Rotting in gold and Burning in suede; You can speak now, dear Swear, you can- Isn't life so great
in the diamond grave?
-samjam I wrote this 2 months ago almost, but I finished it now. So, here! The poster world of success and opulence scares me. It feels so lonely and pointless. You have all the space in the world, and it suffocates you. Maybe I feel that way because I subconsciously know I will never have that. Maybe, I genuinely despise the world of wealth. Maybe,,,,,,,,, I need to stop watching architectural digest. Yeah xD Thanks for reading, Toodles!
