Little by little
She peels away
Skin, after skin
One more layer
“It’ll come today!”
Optimistic onion, her
She peers inside,
Timid glance wide
Curious as cats-
“It should’ve come today!”
But it didn’t, indeed
No thing to feel.
Of course she’d
Sit to breathe
Or pause for tea
But the peeling
The searching
Ah, Never ceased
Dig now and well,
until you die!
The wise man had said
with tears in his eyes
She'd nodded
and Learnt! waiting
for her turn...
But it never did come
Poor thing, that girl!
So,
Pause to breathe
Gulp all the tea
Now or Never and
none to feel
Peel n’ peel
n’ peel desperately
maniacally scream
Stop to heave
Spill the tea
Break the cup
Skip a meal
“But today it will...”
Oh heavens, please!
Sweet child, go to sleep.

Explanation ig:
It's based on a very simple and common idea that we as a species are always searching for something. Some meaning or purpose or whatever unicorn nonsense and you know what. Why bother digging so much. It's just stressful sometimes and "wise" people will ask you to find yourself when they themselves have no clue what's going on. It's okay. Sometimes you live just to live. To eat and poo poo. Why won't we let ourselves simply live without trying to be productive and do "meaningful" things all the time. Sometimes you just gotta lie down and stare at the ceiling for five hours straight. It's okay. Do it. We're gonna die anyway who cares. Hell to unicorns I'm going back to napping, thanks.
