With your fingertips of acid,

Foaming at the mouth;

I’ll remain perfectly placid,

Scars when you’re done.

You’re

Grinning at my body;

at the mark that you’ve left-

Disgustingly hearty, glad

of all the fun you felt.

Touch me, yes

But when flames arise

from where you stung me

I will feed the fire well

With flesh that is yours

I’ll eat your soul

Till my mouth is bloody

And stomach full

Tear your skin down

See that the song you sung

is fully mine now

You’re

Screaming and scalding

and begging for help

But I shall merely smile

As I did back then.

Looking at your ashes,

I’ve surely wiped your grin;

Made your defacement imperceptible,

Or so I think

So, touch me, honey

All you want

Dare.

Touch me.

-samjam. I thought it would be interesting to start the poem with the title itself; sort of integrate it into the first stanza hehe. I love this poem, hope you enjoy it too :D if you did, like and leave a comment (it's so fulfilling to hear a reader's thoughts and feedback!!)

thank you for reading so far. toods, my doods!
